Acupuncture & Adjunct Modalities

Acupuncture is a gentle, evidence-informed practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that supports the body’s natural ability to heal and regulate itself. Using fine, single-use needles placed at specific points on the body, acupuncture encourages circulation, eases tension, calms the nervous system, and helps restore balance in the areas where the body needs it most.

Kenzie works with a wide range of concerns including pain, stress, sleep issues, digestion, menstrual and hormonal health, headaches, anxiety, and general wellness. Each session begins with a clear understanding of the client’s goals, followed by a treatment tailored to both their immediate symptoms and the underlying patterns contributing to them.

Treatments may include adjunct modalities when appropriate. These techniques come from Traditional Chinese Medicine and can deepen the therapeutic effect of acupuncture. Cupping uses gentle suction to release tension and improve circulation; gua sha offers light scraping to reduce stagnation and ease muscular discomfort; and electroacupuncture uses soft electrical stimulation to support chronic pain, injury recovery, and nervous system regulation. Moxibustion may also be used to gently warm specific points and support joint pain, fatigue, or cold conditions. Chinese dietary therapy is sometimes incorporated to offer simple, supportive lifestyle recommendations based on individual patterns.

Kenzie’s approach is gentle, attentive, and rooted in the belief that people heal best when they feel safe, supported, and understood. Many clients drift into a restful state during treatment and leave feeling calmer, lighter, and more at ease in their bodies. Whether someone is seeking relief from specific concerns or hoping to support their overall health, acupuncture offers a thoughtful and accessible way to reconnect with the body’s natural rhythms.

Beginning January 2026, I’ll no longer be accepting new patients for general massage therapy so I can focus more fully on acupuncture, MLD, and CranioSacral Therapy.

Existing massage patients can continue booking as usual.

New patients are welcome for MLD, CST, and acupuncture.
