Kenzie is trained in Vodder-style Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) which is a gentle, rhythmic hands-on technique developed by Dr. Emil Vodder in the 1930s. It is designed to stimulate the lymphatic system — a vital part of the immune and circulatory systems — helping to reduce swelling, improve fluid balance, and support detoxification.
Unlike traditional massage, MLD uses light, precise movements that follow the natural pathways of the lymph vessels. This encourages lymph flow, reduces congestion, and enhances the body’s own ability to clear waste and excess fluid.
Vodder MLD is often used to:
Reduce swelling after surgery or injury
Support management of lymphedema/lipedema
Aid recovery from infections or illness
Promote relaxation and overall wellbeing
As a Certified Lymphatic Therapist, Kenzie provides Vodder-style MLD with a focus on gentle, supportive care tailored to each client’s unique needs. This treatment is covered by insurance.
