Cosmetic acupuncture is a natural, whole-body approach to supporting healthy aging, skin vitality, and overall wellness. Rather than focusing only on the surface, this treatment works by improving circulation, supporting the nervous system, and addressing the internal patterns that influence the skin. The result is a gentle, gradual improvement in tone, texture, hydration, and brightness, while also supporting stress reduction, sleep, digestion, and hormonal balance.
Kenzie offers two cosmetic acupuncture appointments, both beginning with a full intake and a body treatment to address the underlying patterns affecting the face. Each session includes long needle retention and high-quality, TCM-informed skincare selected for the client’s unique needs. Kenzie uses TOMA Skincare for its clean, plant-based formulations that pair beautifully with cosmetic acupuncture. Clients wishing to explore TOMA products at home are welcome to check out their website at tomaskintherapies.com
The shorter appointment is ideal for people with busy schedules, those who prefer a simpler session, or anyone who wants the benefits of cosmetic acupuncture without the added hands-on work. It includes a full intake, body acupuncture, facial points, long needle retention, and customized skincare, offering a restorative and effective treatment in a shorter timeframe.
The extended appointment offers a deeper level of rejuvenation with a structured, intentional flow. After the intake, Kenzie begins with body acupuncture points to support the underlying patterns contributing to the skin’s presentation. This is followed by manual lymphatic drainage for the neck and lower face to encourage circulation, fluid movement, and natural contour. Facial points are then placed, followed by a restorative rest period. Once needles are removed, the treatment transitions into skincare application with facial massage, gua sha, and facial cupping to lift, sculpt, and release tension. This sequence is deeply relaxing and often leaves clients feeling refreshed, grounded, and noticeably brighter.
Cosmetic acupuncture can be safely combined with facial injectables such as Botox and dermal fillers. For the best outcomes and to ensure tissues have fully settled, Kenzie prefers to wait a conservative four weeks after any injection-based treatment before beginning cosmetic acupuncture.
A typical treatment course involves one session per week for ten weeks, or two sessions per week for five weeks. Some clients choose occasional stand-alone sessions throughout the year to maintain results, support stress levels, or prepare for special events.
Cosmetic acupuncture is gentle, non-invasive, and designed to enhance the skin’s natural function rather than override it. Because each session includes a full body treatment, a portion of the appointment may be eligible for coverage under extended health plans that include acupuncture benefits.
Cosmetic acupuncture is most effective as a series but can also be enjoyed as a single treatment for relaxation and glow. Clients often leave feeling lifted, relaxed, and more connected to their bodies.
Beginning January 2026, I’ll no longer be accepting new patients for general massage therapy so I can focus more fully on acupuncture, MLD, and CranioSacral Therapy.
Existing massage patients can continue booking as usual.
New patients are welcome for MLD, CST, and acupuncture.
